Hawzah News Agency- Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, Director of Iran's Islamic Seminaries, spoke Wednesday evening at the Arbaeen commemoration ceremony for the burial of the Martyred Imam, held at the Imam Khomeini prayer hall of the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (SA) in Qom. The ceremony was organized under the auspices of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
Ayatollah Arafi stated that the Martyred Imam generated power for Iran across multiple dimensions, saying: "The Islamic Ummah had fallen behind in science and technology for two hundred years. For years and centuries, we suffered from scientific and technological Westoxification, with all our scientific and technical affairs dependent on the West. Even today, the Islamic world remains widely dependent. However, the Martyred Imam, throughout his forty years of leadership, pursued a consistent path: the generation of scientific and technological power for Iran."
The Director of Iran's Islamic Seminaries emphasized that the brilliance and greatness of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Martyred Leader of the Revolution are unprecedented in Iran's thousands-year history.
The member of Iranian Guardian Council's clerical body, referring to Iran's military and defense might under the leadership of the Martyred Imam, stated: "Our Martyred Imam established defense authority on the foundation of a highly advanced military doctrine. His foresight, vision, and defense and military leadership made Iran a leader in the region and built a power that stood against the world's most powerful forces. By God's grace, the guidance of the Supreme Leader, and the sacrifices of the armed forces, this resistance against enemies will continue."
The Director of Iran's Islamic Seminaries underscored that Iran does not initiate attacks but will be aggressive in defense, vowing to make dark days for the enemy.
Ayatollah Arafi further stressed that retribution, revenge, and seeking justice for the blood of the Martyred Imam and the dear martyrs is not an individual or emotional matter, stating: "The revenge for the blood of our Martyred Imam is not an individual retribution but the retribution of the Islamic Ummah and the oppressed of the world. We remain committed to this revenge and blood-avenging for our Martyred Leader, no matter how many years pass."
